Privacy Policy

Overview

QuoteCraft ("we", "us") is a proposal and quote generation tool for contractors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data. Ever.

Data we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, password (hashed), business name, business address, phone, license number, logo, and brand colors.
• Proposal and client data: the proposals you create, including line items, pricing, scope of work, and the contact information of the customers you send proposals to (name, email, address, phone).
• Usage data: basic logs such as IP address, browser, and timestamps used to keep the Service secure and reliable.
• Payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details are collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use your data

We use your data only to provide and improve the Service — that means letting you build proposals, deliver them to your customers, brand your PDFs, process subscription payments, send you service emails, and keep the platform secure. That's it.

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use your proposal content or customer contact information to train third-party AI models, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of trusted service providers acting on our behalf ("subprocessors"):

• Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions.
• Hosting and database providers — to store your data and serve the application.
• Email delivery — to send proposal links to your customers and service notifications to you.

These providers are contractually restricted to using your data only to deliver their services to us.

Your controls

• Access & export: view all your proposals and business information anytime from the app.
• Correction: edit your business, branding, and proposal data from Settings.
• Deletion: you can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and typically completes within 30 days across backups.
• Cancellation: cancel your paid subscription at any time from Settings.

Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your account information, proposals, and customer records from our production systems, and purge them from routine backups within 30 days.

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on managed infrastructure with access controls and row-level security. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

Children

QuoteCraft is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
